Join

Before joining Maindy Flyers you will be expected to first complete a trial.  This is mandatory, please follow the instructions here to arrange this.

Membership has several parts:

  • Your child is required to become a member of British Cycling.  This is so that they have a level of insurance cover and can access a race licence if they choose to race their bike.  Membership with BC is free for the first year if you choose silver level cover and use a discount code that can be found here.  Join BC here.
  • Once you have joined BC, your child will be given a unique membership number (also their race licence number if appropriate).  Your child then needs to become a member of Maindy Flyers at £35 per annum*.  Click here or on the button below and follow the links.  Use their BC membership number to quickly identify your child.
  • Training with the Maindy Flyers costs £25 per month.  You will need to contact your bank/building society and set up a standing order for this monthly amount.  You can find a standing order form to help with this here.  Enter the child's name in the reference field**

* Renewable in January and not pro-rated.  Members joining Oct-Dec can carry their membership into the following year.  Concessions are available for families who have more than one child joining at the same time.

**Training subs are payable per child.  There are no concessions for multiple siblings.

Kids RacingThe club is partnered with kidsracing.co.uk to offer a discount on kit, clothing, accessories etc.  The discount code is available from the club.
